The local office in Subotica was opened in 1961, which makes it the second oldest local office in AIESEC in Serbia. We currently have around 20 members who come from different faculties from Subotica.
During the 90s, members from Subotica covered the positions of the presidency and founded the national team of Yugoslavia.
In 2010, AIESEC in Subotica won the award for the most incoming internships at the level of Serbia. Numerous projects were organized at that time such as AIESEC business days, marketing mix, youth4sdg, international kindergarten, entrepreneurship for youth, recycle together, technology and others.
In 2013, the AIESEC organization in Subotica closed, so that AIESEC Novi Sad would reopen it in 2017 and thus return the service to our city so that we could again have the opportunity to spread influence among young people.
At the beginning of 2024, AIESEC in Subotica regains the status of a local office and acquires full membership in AIESEC in Serbia.
The local office in Subotica is known for the great closeness and connection that is fostered within the members, for the dedication, fighting spirit and great love for AIESEC and everything it has the opportunity to do through it.
Members of the local office have the opportunity for personal and professional development through working in a team and in a challenging environment. Through membership, they can also develop skills in project management, sales, marketing, public relations, finance and human resource management.
Like all leaders, the members of the local office in Subotica strive every day to be a better version of themselves, to achieve results, participate in socially responsible projects and thus be an example by which young people in Subotica should be guided!
